Today I would like to take you to the MBC Filmpark in Yongin. Yongin is located south of Seoul and can be reached quickly and easily. The film park extends over an area of approximately 250 hectares. It was opened in 2005 and opened to visitors in 2011. As a rule, it is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here you will find permanent film sets and sets from the Korean epochs of the Goryea, Jeoson and Samguk period. Originally built houses, marketplaces, fortresses etc. take you back in time. It is surrounded by a wonderful landscape. You really forget that you are in 2019. Even if a series is filmed again in the park, it is open to visitors and you may meet one or the other star of the Korean drama world. Since the entrance fees are humane, the MBC Dae Jang Geum Filmpark is definitely worth a visit. Very nice photos can even be taken in the Dobok. Near Yongin you will also find other tourist highlights such as the famous Everland amusement park or the Carribean Bay water park.
